Q-Switch against Pigmentation

Q-Switch is a revolutionary laser technology which is used to treat uneven skin tone and hyper-pigmentation specially designed with higher safety standards. At Sparha, the use of Q-switch laser has proved useful to decrease acne scars, pigmentation, moles, freckles, superficial tan, melasma, birthmarks as well as for tattoo removal. The invisible beam of light emitted by Q-switch targets only the melanin pigments in the dark spots or color pigments (in tattoos) without affecting the surrounding skin. It reaches deeper areas of the skin where other products or peels cannot reach. When the Q-switch laser operates, it shatters fragments of pigmentation or ink and stimulates collagen production, thereby producing new skin that is clear and smooth.

Q-switch v/s Regular laser

The Q-switched laser is appropriate if you want to remove a few isolated pigmented spots irrespective of their size. They are different from regular lasers as they deliver energy in very short bursts to disrupt the pigmented cells. Regular lasers use a single wavelength to deliver energy to the target area. Since their contact with the skin is much less than regular lasers, Q-switched lasers are more precise and safe for use.
